WORLDWIDE SHIPPING INFORMATION
There are basically 5 options of shipping we do provide from Chiang Mai, Thailand.
- FedEx, Priority: 3-7 Days
- FedEx, Economy: 3-10 Days
- Thailand Post, Airmail: 14-30 Days
- Thailand Post, Economy Airmail: 4-5 Weeks
- Thailand Post, Sea Freight: 2-3 Months
- Private Shipping Agency, Sea Freight: 1-2 Months

- Shipping Option 1-4 are available to deliver from door to door.
- Shipping Option 5 is available to deliver from us to your selected nearest port.

- Due to the restrictions regarding size, dimension, weight, damaged and lost, some items are not available for all shipping methods.
- ***Queen Size and King Size Bed Headboard are only available for shipping with FedEx Express due to the restriction of weight and volume.
- If you prefer to have your own arrangement courier, we are glad to coordinate with them to deliver the order to you.
With us you can stay worried free as TRACK & TRACE service is provided for all items with all shipping methods. Right after your order is registered for shipping, we will send you an E-mail with the link attached so that you can track your order anytime, anywhere.
You can also simply check and retrieve all information of your purchasing by logging into your account on our website.
We found it common that some countries have different import taxes. Therefore we are not liable for any Import Tax, Duty, VAT , Customs Clearance or any other fee once your item(s) has been shipped. We are also not liable if your item gets delayed or kept in Customs Inspection. Customer must take responsibility to acknowledge and be aware of the customs process and regulations of one’s country for customer’s own benefits.

If you are looking for the unique fair trade handicraft at great values. We are happy to consult with you. We work with our experienced local artisans from Thailand, Myanmar and Bali who devote themselves on creating unique handmade products from generation to generation.
We take exceptional care to post items so that they arrive in the condition you see in the pictures. Your order will be shipped within 3 days after it has been carefully wrapped and boxed. Occasionally there may be a delay due to weather or of recent times in Thailand’s holidays, political issues, if for any reason this occurs we will contact you directly.
We provide the information about approximate processing time for each item on its product webpage. By the way there are two types of products that take longer time before shipping;
Please expect at least 10 business days up to 3 weeks processing time before the Buddha Statue will be shipped. As we abide by Royal Thai law which restricts the sale of the image of Buddha into international countries. Each religious, sacred or blessed statue or image will go through the process of receiving certification of authenticity and exportation license before leaving the Kingdom. This is an easy process and is at no additional cost to the customer. Your patience is appreciated. Please contact us for more information.
After 7-10 days of purchasing, we will send you a photo of your exact item after painting with the selected color. Please respond within 48 hours after you receive the E-mail and notify the satisfaction. If we do not hear from you we will assume that you agree with us to continue the further process and ship your order.
INSURANCE & REFUND
Although we believe we offer the best in quality and cost, although seldom things unintentionally go wrong. Please send us a message and we will do our utmost to resolve any situation.
Any damage during postage is not the responsibility of Siam Sawadee but we will always be here to assist you if there is any problem about the shipping. The condition of Insurance & Refund is listed below;
1. FedEx, Express
- Lost: Full Refund (Excluding Shipping Cost)
- Damaged: FedEx will take responsibility to evaluate the situation and cost of compensation. As a gesture of goodwill, we can utmost send you the new item for replacement. However there are STRICT REQUIREMENTS for you to take the action to get the refund.
- You MUST contact Siam Sawadee within 24 hours since you receive the parcel which can be checked and investigated by TRACK & TRACE.
- Supporting photos of the damaged item.
- Photos of different dimensions of the parcel.
Returning Merchandise Damaged During Shipping with FedEx
All orders are carefully packaged and leave our warehouse in good condition. If a shipment arrives with obvious shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please contact us immediately or within 7 business days after receiving the package. Save all packaging material and paperwork. Do not throw anything away! Please also send us an email message to let us know that you have received a damaged package. We will work with you and the shipping company to determine the appropriate next steps. Here are the important steps to follow:
1. Please take pictures of any damages around the packaging (front, side and back) and then photos of any damaged items.
2. Please send those photos to us within 5 days.
3 We will work with you and the shipping company to claim the damages. The formal claims process can take anywhere from 30 – 60 business days.
Return options for damaged products with FedEx
1. If the damage can be easily fixed, then the delivery company will process your claim up to the amount of the damage, but the delivery company will not offer a replacement.
2. If the product is more than 50% damaged and can’t be fixed, you can choose to get a full refund from your original receipt, but please pack the damaged items into the same box, and we will arrange it to be picked up and returned to our warehouse with the shipping company, OR you can opt to have the product replaced (with no refund). Duties and taxes will be your responsibility for replacement products
2. Thailand Post (Airmail, Economy Airmail, Sea Freight)
- Lost: Full Refund (Excluding Shipping Cost)
- Damaged: No refund under any circumstances
3. Private Shipping Agency, Sea Freight
The insurance can be arranged at 2.5% additional of the item cost to the buyer. If you opt out, Siam Sawadee will not take any responsibility incase of lost and damaged.
And if you would opt this additional cost, please contact us right after purchasing so that we will send you an invoice of the insurance.

Please keep in mind that personalized, special-order, personal care, custom orders, final sale, items approved from customer to ship out or items damaged through normal care and use may not be returned unless Siam Sawadee is deemed responsible for a fulfillment or shipping error, or a manufacturing defect. Customer’s orders can be changed; colours, designs ,or, details of your product within 24 hours after a placement. There will be additional charges for modifications after the first 24 hours.
We will make a sincere attempt to honor a cancellation request, however, once the order is in the process of being manufactured, finished, or shipped, the order can not be cancelled. However, items in a backordered status may be canceled at any time. To cancel an order or an item, please contact us for assistance at [email protected]
We take great pride in our custom pieces of arts, made in Thailand by our eco-friendly partners. Please note that due to the made-to-order nature of these pieces we cannot accept returns except in instances of a manufacturer’s defect. Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. As always, our customer service agents are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
If an item does not meet your expectations, please return it to us for an exchange or a refund within 30 days of receipt of the merchandise. With your return, please include the completed, original packaging. If you are simply unhappy with your item we will accept returns and pay 100% refund once the item has been sent back ans well received. Siam Sawadee is not responsible for returning merchandise, which may become lost in-transit, please consider safe-guarding your merchandise by insuring your package. The buyer is responsible for the cost of postage.
