These ‘Foo’ dogs would look great Feng-Shui in or out of your home, perhaps guarding in your garden or near your front door which is what they are used for in Thailand and other South East Asian countries.
Dragon Dogs or Lions are the ancient sacred guardians of Buddhist temples. The dragon in Buddhist religion is seen as sacred, and has sometimes been offered to Buddha as a sacrifice. The name given to these guardians originates from China. The Chinese word for Buddha is Fo, which led to the original title– “Dog of Foo”.
In ancient China, the mythological Foo Dog or Shishi Lion was considered a guardian of people and property as well as protection against evil spirits. In addition to their supernatural attributes they are also fortunately pleasant to look at and stylistically versatile. This particular pair of vintage ceramic Foo Dogs would make excellent adornments for virtually any living space.

The singha statues are very delicate but strong. They make my terrace look enchanting. Great packaging as they arrived to the States safely

I put these Singha statues in my meditation room. It simply makes me feel like I was in a tropical Asian country somewhere. Delicate but strong. No wonder why they arrived to the U.S. perfectly because they packed them very well.
